MOSINEE- Community Center of Hope (CCH) Food Pantry (CCH) in Mosinee is excited to announce a new fall fundraiser, Decades Night, at the Mosinee Brewing Company on Thursday, October 17 from 5:00-9:00 pm.
The event, featuring tie-ins from the 1920’s through today, will have 200 available admission tickets. The $25 advance ticket will offer music and dancing with local musician Chad Brecke, heavy appetizers, a free drink of choice, auctions, basket raffles, games and a lot of fun. A costume contest for best “period costume” will be held with cash prizes of $50, $75 and $100. There will also be a “Finish that Tune” game to add an extra twist to the night. In addition to having a variety of basket raffles with items donated by local businesses and organizations, CCH is bringing in Big Time Auctions for a brand new silent auction experience.
Director Amy Bergstrom had this to say about Decades Night, “This is the 10th year that CCH is doing a fall fundraiser, so we decided to try something new. Our partnership with Mosinee Brewing Company helped us to create a one-of-a-kind event. Our board is really looking forward to having a great time with our community members, while raising money to combat hunger in our area. This year’s fundraising goal is lofty at close to $17,000, but we know our community will come through for us! Sponsorship levels start at just $25 and every little bit helps.”
